French police have raided Google’s Paris offices as part of an investigation into “aggravated tax fraud” and money laundering, authorities said Tuesday. This is a case of MAJOR tax evasion. “These searches are the result of a preliminary investigation opened on June 16, 2015 relative to aggravated tax fraud and organized money laundering following a complaint from French fiscal authorities,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “
Tax evasion evidently used to be very easy to get away with. Al Capone is a good example of this. He managed to play the right cards and get away with it for a very long time, now that advanced computers exist, maybe more and more hacking can take place.
