This viatnam veteran knowing he was going to die wishes to see best friends one last time. He had been paralyzed, but that didn't make him give up on riding and training horses. He was the only veteran in the hospital with the energy and ability to have his horses and train them. When the Hospital Audie L. Murphy Memorial open Roberto Gonzales was brought as one of there first patients in 1974. This hospital try's to make there patients comfterble before they die, and for this case they accomplished Roberts last wish come true. They brought his two horses named “sugar” and “ringo” to say good bye. This man half dead manages to open his eyes and extend his hand to touch his horses one last time, as for the horses they seem to be kissing this men.The Vietnam was was one of the wars that for many people made no sense and a war that caused many deaths. The people who served in this war were very brave and strong to go through it and come home with positive energy to live for themselves and family.
