Judge Finds Baltimore Police Officer Not Guilty In Death Of Freddie Gray -Eva Semrad

Freddie Gray died about a year ago, in the hands of the police, specifically Officer Edward Nero. Even through he pleaded guilty for reckless endangerment (not buckling Gray's seat belt and giving him sever spinal injury), Judge Barry Williams finds him not guilty, seeing as there was no direct proof against him.

I find it shocking that a man pleading guilty for hurting another man can walk away free. None of it seams right. This is similar to a few decades ago when white men could get away with clear murder of a black man. Arguably, that is still the case today. Social action must be taken to change internalized racism.
