Video of man's death releasedThe article I read from CBS News discusses the death of a 32 year-old male, Chase Sherman, in Georgia and the video that was released on May 20, 2016 via deputies' body cameras. Police were called by the man's parents after he began hallucinating due to the use of a synthetic drug known as spice. The video in the article says the man was tased a total of 15 times by Georgia deputies, despite the begging of the mother and the man saying "I quit, I quit", as seen in the video. The video, which is about 4 minutes long, shows the deputies carrying Chase Sherman's lifeless body out of the rental vehicle. The parents are now seeking justice for their son.
The mother called 911 assuming she would receive protection of her son, instead he son ended up dead. Although he was hallucinating and was under the influence of drugs, there as no reason for him to be attacked, contained, and abused the way he was, especially after he calmed down and had given up fighting. Police violence is a major issue in the United States today. The police are ultimately their to aid and protect the people. We must get back to the mentality or we will eventually have no one to protect us. Obviously not all police officers/deputies act this way, however the actions of others has representing their community as something terrible. It's time that we see the heroic stories of police officers/deputies in the news again.

That's awful, and so sad for the mother, she should be able to rely on police to protect
