Bride Who Lost Her Home In Fire Gets Big Surprise When Shopping For Dress // Jillian Linnear P.8

The following article talks about how a community came together collectively to help a bride who lost her home and car, to pay for her entire wedding that was supposed to happen before the fire.

The woman lost her house and car in a fire, and to follow suit so did her mom. Due to her current predicament, the woman was forced to sleep in a tent on her mother-in-law's lawn. She was going to drop her appointment to go dress shopping, when her mother told her she had to go. The community in which, she lived her about their current state and decided to help. The owner at the bridal boutique not only allowed her to choose any dress she wanted from her shop, but also called up fellow friends in the bridal community to help throw her wedding.

I think that the whole point of the article is to show people that there are still people in this world that will help you out when times get difficult. Although, this may not have been something that wouldn't have been as urgent as a matter as finding a new house and car, it was still nice and thoughtful. I think the main purpose of the article was to show how little things can bring a community together.

  1. That's sweet of them to help her out, I'm glad they did that. But I agree, she still has to sleep in a tent, so she's in an unfortunate situation.
