Woman in Carmi Found Alive- Ausia Jones 3rd period
A 39 year old was last seen leaving her home on a Saturday and did not return. They were soon told she fell into the Wabash River and was stuck in the mud for 24 hours. No one heard her screaming. That Sunday the police were notified about a dead body lying in the mud but little did they know she was still alive. It nearly took 15 people to rescue her using ropes. This woman is expected to be okay. The 39 year old woman is extremely blessed to be alive. I couldn't imagine being trapped in mud for 24 hours.

ReplyDeletei couldn't imagine either to be trapped in mud for 24 hours struggling to breath and even move to get someone's attention for rescue. she seems like a very brave woman. i think that i could've given up at some point there... i would've lost hope. do you know how they found her? was someone just wondering around there and happen to see her there or did she like try to move and try to give some sort of signal for rescue? ReplyDeleteWow I can't even imagine what she was going through. Probably the questions racing through her mind, "will I die, will I be rescued, will I live?"
