Christians in China- Glenna Loughlin

This article by David McKenzie and Steven Jiang addresses the common problem throughout China of religious persecution. A city in eastern China (known as the "Jerusalem of China") is ripped away of it's Christian churches.  This is not a fair or necessary doing. Though China is not one of religious freedom, there should not be this much abuse and outrage towards less popular religions in the region.

  1. Surprised that there were any Christian churches there to begin with. China has been against religious freedom for a very long time now and I had no idea that setting up churches was even possible. However, I'm not surprised that these churches were taken down due to China's history.

  2. I know that the Chinese communist government is trying to only allow Buddhism to be practiced in China.
