Shayne Grant: Trump warns North Korea of 'devastating' military option

US President Donald Trump has issued another warning to North Korea threatening the country with a "devastating" military option. This follows North Korea moving some of their fighter jets and missiles to the eastern coast in preparation of an attack. North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho claimed that the president had declared war on the small nation and that the country would shoot down any US planes off the coast even if they were in international airspace. The US flew bombers from Guam, the furthest north of the DMZ in the 21st Century. The President has said that all military options are on the table and that North Korea will be devastated if they try to take action. The White House also denied any claims that the US had declared war on North Korea calling the statements foolish.

This back and forth rhetoric from the countries is very scary. The article comes from a reliable source at CNN and is direct from the US Government. From the article, it seems that both countries are moments away from striking each other and totally annihilate each other. Both sides need to back down from the harsh and reckless rhetoric that they are both using. If they do not, something serious could come out of this and an avoidable mistake will take place with devastating consequences.

  1. I agree with you about the 2 countrys having a back and forth argument is very scary! Who knows what might happen if one country attacks the other country. This may be a stretch but if these 2 countries do start attacking each other, and one of them starts trying to make other countries fight on their side, and vice versa. It could become an international war and then maybe even a World War!
