Nicholas Godfrey Period 8: Submarine now in the search for missing airplane

Summary: A submarine is now joining the search in the Mediterranean Sea for the missing EgyptAir Flight 804. For those of you who don't know, this flight was going from Paris to Cairo when it suddenly spun around and dropped 25,000 feet and then went offline. Reports were automatically sent electronically to ground control computers about the rear window having trouble as well as smoke coming from the lavatory and the avionics chamber. Some pieces of the plane has been recovered as well as some belongings and parts of the passengers. The authorities have asked that the press doesn't jump to any conclusions, however it is widely believed that this was an act of terror although nobody has claimed responsibility as of yet.

Analysis: I am so shocked that something this mysterious has happened yet again. It's so odd that with the technology that we have today that we aren't able to have some kind of, I don't know, footage or something from satellites (which would be really hard to do but still there has gotta be some way). I also find it off that nobody has claimed responsibility for this yet as if it is an act of terror, a terrorist group is usually quick to claim it as their own. This reminds me of the Malaysia flight that went missing two years ago (which is weird to think that it went missing that long ago). At least we have been able to recover things from this flight much more quickly and a lot more than the Malaysia flight. I hope that this is able to be sorted out quickly to give closure and peace to the families of the victims of this plane crash.
