According to recent studies, music choices vary not only per person, but per species as well. Research showed that listening to audio books and people reading, relaxed dogs more than popular music or even classical. A program manager of Animal Behavior, showed that she found it rather surprising that audio books happened to be the more favorable. Dogs tended to show peaceful behavior and reduced barking, pacing, and standing. They even slept more pleasantly after listening to the audio book. I think that this could benefit dogs behavior. My dog is crazy. she likes to bark at a leaf falling from the tree. If it was my dog I would make it lesson to music during the day like an old lady.
