The article states that a woman in the Chevy Chase are of Washington, D.C. poured liquid onto another woman wearing a hijab (a veil covering the head and chest traditionally worn by Muslim women). Apparently, the white woman first walked by and yelled "Muslim piece of trash." After that, she rushed away but then came back pouring the unknown liquid onto her head. The lady executing the hate crime was a Trump supporter and supposedly hoped he would send all of the "muslim terrorists" out of the country. There was a video released and she is wanted by the police for simple assault.
It amazes me how people that are privileged enough to go to Starbucks and order a drink do things like this. There is no justification for an action such as this. Although African Americans were mistreated until around the 1950s, it doesn't mean they should be mistreated in everyday life. The same goes for Muslims. Everyone needs to learn that the world is evolving and people of different races/ethnicities/sexes/beliefs can easily get along.

This is disgusting. It's one thing to support a canadate, but another to use their campaign as a basis to disrespect and abuse other humans.
