A Navy officer has been charged with counts of espionage and three counts of attempted espionage.  Lt. Cmdr. Edward Lin, was arrested about 8 months ago. However information on the case didn't become available until after a hearing on Friday.  Both the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and the FBI continued to investigate, attempting to determine who Lin was spying for. The countries of China and Taiwan being possible suspects. Lin was taken into custody at an airport in the U.S. Pacific Command region, so this raised suspicion. He's also charged with counts of "false official statement" for not reporting foreign travel and putting fake information on documents".

I think this event is quite freighting and genuinely hope  justice is served. I hope Lin's other crimes are caught as well. and I am curious to know the results of the case, so I can know which country recruited him.
