The Valley fire in California has been recorded as one of the most destructive fires in California history. It has burned down approximately 800 homes and burned about 50,000 acres of land near Sacramento, California. Both the Butte and Valley fires have caused a lot of damage recently. However, both of the fires have been at least fifty percent tamed, but evacuations are still in place.
It's unfortunate that there is nothing more we can do to stop this considering nature is a way stronger force in comparison to the people trying to contain both of the fires.

Wow this is so sad!! It seems that forest fires have always brought problems to California, but this one is really very destructive! I'm continuing to hope that people will find an even better way to prevent and treat forest fires so that this much land and property is not destroyed in the future. -Nicole Chatham 6th period
