Tourist Mistaken for Terrorist and Killed by Deandra Whitmill

Egypt's military and police were chasing Mexican tourist through the desert because they thought they were terrorist. The tourist were in a restricted area with no permits and theie cars were not for tours.The tourist said that everything was cleared before they left the hotel that morning. One of the tourist had diabetes, so they detoured to get back faster.



I think they should have checked before they killed them ,because they didnt know who they were. I feel sorry for the families.

    I think they should at least take suspected terrorists into custody before administering justice upon them. The last thing we need is more innocent lives taken.

    P.S. I agree with Emir that the way you phrased the title was a little unfortunate

    I agree with Lincoln in the fact that it's totally unfair to base that cruel a judgement so quickly! How awful to assume the worst based off of miscommunication, probable racism, and coincidences that didn't flicker through the officers' minds as something they needed to look into before rashly ending the life of an innocent person. :(

    Pretty terrible these people had to die just because one of them had a medical problem that required them to take a detour. Should have at least checked them.
