On Monday (today) latino activists in Dallas or plant march against Donald Trump during the city rally. Leaders of LULAC said that they are bringing people in from as far away as Houston. With trump being scheduled to speak at the American airlines center with the assembly of about 20,000 people, a protesting group of about 1500 Latino and other activist are expected to March from the CBRE building in Dallas' Arts District to Victory Park in protest against Donald Trump's pledge to send undocumented immigrants back to Mexico and other South American countries.
Analysis:
for me I stand neutral on both sides of the argument displayed in this article, but I do see his attention and fear of those by the Latino community about having family members and friends deported back to South America. My question is why doesn't it seem like there's any agreement/compromise that can be made between The government and undocumented immigrants, and efforts to tear away some of the tension, instead of saying "Okay as soon as I become president I'm sending all the undocumented back to their original homes."

I agree with you how it has a two sided poll and how he can have a 50% chance of each supporter and non supporter. I feel her was just using this issue to receive free advertisement from news stations etc since he is paying for this campaign on his own.

ReplyDeleteI agree that Trump's side may be compelling, but I don't agree with how he is stating that even if a child is born in America and its parents are both immigrants, then they shouldn't be given citizenship. If this is true, then how will the American population grow at all if everybody born here with immigrant parents will themselves be immigrants, making their children the same.
I don't advocate for this man at all or what he stands for in general but I feel Donald Trump could potentially have good points when it comes to immigrants but it is overshadowed by the way he comes across. It's just plain offensive. If you are going to respectable and credible presidential candidate you can go around insult an entire population that despite coming her on shaky terms are here to actually have a good life by working and being an upstanding citizen.
