" Major river floods in Ibaraki, eastern Japan"
In eastern Japan prefecture of Ibaraki, the people were experiencing heavy rain for days which caused the levee of the Kinugawa river to break. Within hours the water began to flood the homes, dwellings were being broken and damaged by the pressure of the water, also unfortunately some people were unable to flee there homes before the tragic event occurred. Many people have been reported missing since the flooding began. In many videos you could see devastated people sitting on there roofs as the water rises below them destroying there beloved home. Authorities say that the flood has affected 6,900 buildings in the area.Firefighters and Self-Defense Forces personally used helicopters to airlift people to safety. But the rescuers say they're having difficulty approaching homes by boat. This event occurred on September,10. Please comment what you think about the flooding.
