14 year old girl died at sleepover

Three days before the first day of freshman year, Kara Lemanowicz died while at a friend's house.  She had started playing soccer when she was four years old, and she dreamed about being on the varsity team in high school.  Two weeks before school started, Kara found out she made the cut for the varsity soccer team at her high school.  Four days before school started, she had a sleepover with a few of her close friends to celebrate and that night she passed in her sleep.  They still aren't for sure what caused her death, but they don't think there was foul play.  They do know that she had asthma which could have played a role.  The soccer team is still scheduled to play the season, but will remember her with a banner on the field.  Her coach started a gofundme page and it has raised $30,000 in two days for her family.  This tragic story illustrates, you never know what is going to happen tomorrow.  You have to always live life like it's your last day.  Her community outreach has been very generous and helpful to the family.

  1. I think it's very honorable that this girl's coach started a gofundme page for her family and this is extremely tragic and unbelievable. This just makes me cherish life even more and live everyday like it's my last.
