A man, about 20 years old, died around 1300 or 1200. It appears he died from multiple stab wounds in the ribs. His remains were found in the trees roots. His leg bones were found in his grave and the rest of his body was tangled in the trees roots. A storm in Ireland knocked down the 215 year old tree and the bones were found in the roots. An archeologist from the National Museum Service studied the bones and she said the remains were found in a rural area and records from the 19th century says that there used to be a church and graveyard in that area.
This man died a horrible death. I hope he didn't die in vain. It is a horrible feeling when you're forgotten, especially when your dead and can't do anything about it.
