Kenley Turner 3rd- Al Qaeda's leader to ISIS: Youre wrong, but we can work together

summery: Over the past two years, Al Qaeda and ISIS have been in a fairly public disagreement, after Al Qaeda disowned ISIS in 2014, for "holding an illegitamate caliphate". However, leader al-Zawahiri has reached out to ISIS leaders wanting to reform their alliance, and accompany other terrorist organizations for "the greater good". Islamic Caliphates feel attacked, so if they ban together, they will be stronger. There are several theories for another motive, for example, perhaps Al Qaeda leaders plan to take over ISIS. Whatever the circumstances, it is a very dangerous movement and the United States is prepared.

analysis: This is similar to in WWII when the United States became allies with the USSR in order to defeat a common enemy, which was Germany. In this case, the common enemy would be western Europeans and Americans, because in their eyes, we are seen as the attackers of Islam. It is very scary when multiple dangerous enemies unite, and this could result in a world war, most likely involving the Middle East on one side, and Western Europe on the other. It will be interesting to see what all of this affects, considering the Middle East controls gas prices, and multiple other natural resources.
