Overall I think it's completely worth it, and not a dollar was wasted. Water is precious, and not only that, but the fact that giving it back to the sea is even better. The only thing that would make this bad, is if the water wasn't fully filtered, but considering that they spent 57 million, I'm pretty sure they did their job well.

Water is a precious resource, I am so glad that Japan is contributing to the cause of water depletion. This 57 million dollar project is sure to provide clean filtered water to the next generations.
