Fukushima's water cleaning project. Xavier S. Rabon

Fukushima filtered water that was once radioactive, due a plant meltdown. It has been 4 years since then, and now they are finally giving the water back to the sea. They filtered 850 tons of contaminated water, and are still extracting 300 tons to filter everyday. The entire project cost 57 million dollars.
Overall I think it's completely worth it, and not a dollar was wasted. Water is precious, and not only that, but the fact that giving it back to the sea is even better. The only thing that would make this bad, is if the water wasn't fully filtered, but considering that they spent 57 million, I'm pretty sure they did their job well.

    Water is a precious resource, I am so glad that Japan is contributing to the cause of water depletion. This 57 million dollar project is sure to provide clean filtered water to the next generations.
