Woman keeps bobcat as her pet - Sarah Oviedo 6pd.

In this video/article, a woman from Stafford Township, New Jersey pays a fine to keep her pet back at home and to add safety renovations to her home. She went before a judge and was ordered to do so if she wanted to keep "Rocky" back at home. The bobcat has escaped five times in the past three years. Jenny claims her pet to be more of a house pet than a danger to the community. She had an enclosure added to the front door and French doors added to the back door. People in the community are having safety issues towards this as well but many neighbor's are better now with the safety regulations and improvements. The bobcat is allowed to stay home now and the owner is not worried due to the bobcats' good behavior in his lifespan.

This is eye catching to me because I didn't think this was allowed. A wild animal was born to live in the wild therefore it'd be a hard concept to understand due to safety regulations and the appropriate habitat for this type of animal. Overall. I think it is neat because I love cats and now I want one!! Safety does need to be supervised at all times to prevent accidents from a wild animal.

  1. I know certain unusual pets are allowed in certain areas, but I didn't know bobcats were one of them.

  2. This is very unusual, considering how harmful this wild animal may be. However, if this woman is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the bobcat, then I guess there is no reason why she shouldn't be able to keep it. Although, if I were living in that area I would constantly be concerned about my safety.
