Immigration in the United States has been a very controversial topic going around in this day and time. President Obama's choices of the subject matter have also been topics that lots of people have been talking about. Obama at one point decided to delay action, executive action on immigration. On the next day the best of the best law makers were persuading Obama to disregard his plans involving executive action and come together and work with congress. People's reactions based on Obama's decisions range all the way from, "the president shoul not act unilaterally at all," said senator Dianne Feinstein, and "the president is being prudent by not acting," all the way to, "I think that was wise. He needs to work with congress on this." On Saturday he publicly announced that "he is delaying any action on immigration that could have protected many undocumented immigrant workers and their families from deportation until after the midterm elections in November ." Americans have been getting the vibe that Obama has been playing it safe. "Playing it safe means walking away from our values and our principles," on ABC's "This week." I believe that we need to stop taking it slow and cringing away from it like a baby, but fix and face the problem head on before the problem gets even more disastrous.
