"First U.S. airstrike in expanded Iraq fight" by Alex Norton 4th Period

Today the United States took its first step in its planned expanded fight against Iraq. Forces in Iraq asked for help when they were under attack by militants and the U.S came through and destroyed six vehicles belonging to the Islamic State. The strike represents the newly broadened mission authorized by President Barack Obama to go on the offensive against the Islamic State group wherever it is.

After the terrifying silence that left America desperate to know what will happen to deal with ISIS, it is still scary but better now that America is informed and can trust that steps are being taken to put a stop to ISIS.
