Police are trying to find out who abandoned a fetus in one of the girls' bathrooms at Woodrow Wilson High School in east Dallas Friday afternoon.
The fetus was found in a second floor bathroom that “…could be used by staff members, but it's predominately used by students,” according to DISD spokesman Jon Dahlander.
Around 2:30 p.m., a school custodian was notified about a possible fetus in one of the bathrooms.
The custodian contacted the principal, who then contacted police.
This is a crazy story to begin with but to add to that this was my home school.I still have plenty of friends who go there. It's hard hearing this new first hand.

my sister goes to this school. she knew nothing about it until she saw the news. lol
ReplyDeleteI was at Woodrow after school the day this happened because that's where my bus drops off. There were reporters swarming with microphones shoved in a DISD spokesperson's face. As we pulled up to the school and saw the commotion a girl on the bus informed us of what had happened, as she had been contacted by a friend who attends Woodrow. When we got off the bus I still had questions that I was asking aloud, just in case anyone knew anything else. One of those questions being, "Was it a baby or a fetus?" The question had barely left my mouth when a boy in a Woodrow polo gave me my answer by replying crudely, "It was a dead fetus." It is appalling how desensitized teenagers are these days. This boy wasn't even phased, but I felt sick to my stomach the whole way home.

This is absolutely sad and disturbing. How can someone just leave a fetus in the bathroom like that. I know a few friends that attend Woodrow and none of them knew anything about this until it was reported on the news.
ReplyDeleteI just cannot believe that someone could be so ignorant to leave a fetus in the bathroom of a high school. I hope they find who ever did this and make sure they are punished for the neglect and harm of this fetus. Though I would hate to find out that a teacher left this to be found, and yet I cannot imagine why a child would leave their own child there either. What ever happens, I would like to see this case closed with some light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteThink of how scarring this must be for the person it happened to, she had to give birth to a dead baby and probably has no one to talk to. For all we now she could have been raped meaning it wouldn't even be her fault she had a child.
