At the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity house is under suspicion of drugging girls drinks at parties help at the house. Warrants have been put up against the house after three women and one man were hospitalized after a party held on the 12th of September. Students have come out to say that TKE had a bad reputation of putting roofies into females drinks while they are unaware or not suspecting anything. Girls who attended this TKE party were offered to purchase an 8 dollar drink card which allowed them access to drink at all the houses bars. A young female who was hospitalized talked to reporters and said that she remembers a boy pouring her drink and slipped it under the table for a second before giving the drink to her. 45 minutes later, she blacked out. Police busted the party the morning of September 13, finding 42 students who were under the legal drinking age in the basement.
We have all heard stories of what happens at college parties, but we hear little of what is actually done to stop them. The college did make the move to ban the chapter from campus but there has been minimal involvement from the police. I see it as college try to protect their reputations by sweeping thing like this under the rug so they can keep student enrollments high and investors hooked. The ladies who are involved in situations such as this on campuses and throughout cities need some sort of protection. I that means going out with a larger group of close friends or having checks at the door, by all means, let it happen.

I think the women involved should get some sort of help or compensation. And I'd say shutting down the chapter is a pretty good action.
