Study: Sending Electricity Through Our Brains Makes Us More Creative- Natalie Newman

Research was done at the Universtiy of Pennsylvania to test the theory that finding a way to weaken  the prefrontal cotex's should help boost creativity from an individual. At the university, 48 participants had a weak electric charge through their cotex and were having their so-called "filters" shut down which eventually lead to greater creativity. Those whose right prefrontal cortex was electically charged saw little difference in their imagination wheras those whose left prefrontal cortex was electrically charged saw a difference.
This is a very interesting experiment but it also seems quite dangerous. The volunteers must know what they are getting themselves into. I think it is amazing to find such interesting results from an experiment like this.
