Delta Air Lines is setting new guidelines on the service animals allowed to travel on their planes. They are choosing to do this in the best interest of their customers because in the past year there have been many reports of rough animals on board. These rough animals have threatened the safety of the passengers during the flight. Passengers will now be required to provide proof of their pets training and vaccination 48 hours before they board. Delta needs to know that their pet is guaranteed to behave.
I personally am glad that Delta is doing this. I think that safety should always come first and passengers should be able to feel safe during their flight. I think that this article was written for anyone who flys on airplanes and wants to understand the quality of their flight. This article would make the majority feel better about flying with Delta.

  1. I also wrote about this change. I agree that they should take these safety precautions. You would never want an animal to harm anyone else.

  2. Olivia Wall- I saw Carsyn commented on the same issue. I think that it is good that they are taking extra precautions as well. It is important for the safety of the passengers.

  3. I think it’s important that they’re taking extra precautions, but at the same time I think most animals are just scared of the new environment on a plane(that’s maybe why they were dangerous).
