North Korea launched a missile from a submarines underwater as a test. it was fired off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula. it flew 30 kilometers which is equivalent to 19 miles which lacked the rest of the 300 kilometers that would've made it a successful test. north korea claimed that it was indeed a successful test. Kim Jon Un guided on the spot underwater when he fired the missile. north korea believes that with the U.S' hostile influence of nuclear weapons, they feel better having nuclear weapons themselves that are successful.
ever since the first world war the countries of the world have always had a paranoia of their neighbor's having nuclear weapons. of course this is reasonable but sometimes its taken to the extreme. wars and conflicts have been started with the factor of nuclear weapons playing a huge role. i think north korea is over reacting to the u.s being hostile when the us is just trying to help other countries. this is similar to the bombing of hiroshima that made other countries afraid of the weapons the us had up their sleeve.
