Two years ago twenty-two month old Cooper Harris died after being left in the back seat of a hot car while his father was at work. What seemed like a tragic accident took a shocking, unexpected turn when three months later, Harris was charged with murder. The defense saying Harris was a loving father who experienced a tragic breach of memory. The prosecution, on the other hand, says Harris knew his son was in the car, and purposely wanted the boy out of his life.
Prosecutors have also revealed allegations about Harris, that he wasn't completely satisfied with his marriage and maintained a sordid online presence. This is not the first time that an incident like this has happened. It is actually unfortunately becoming more heard of that parents are forgetting their children in the back of a sweltering car. However, someone purposely letting their child suffer and die is rare.
