Suspect in fatal Mass. police shooting killed-Katherine Flores

Summary: The main suspect in the fatal shooting of a Massachusetts Police officer was killed Sunday evening in a shootout with police. They began looking for him earlier that day when Officer Robert Tarentino Jr. was shot in a traffic halt. He had been in the department for two years and will be leaving behind his wife and their three children. This is now the second police officer shooting to be reported in Central Massachusetts in two months. However, everyone showed the family some love/support/sympathy at the funeral.

Analysis: The main thing that intrigued me from this article was that this has been the second shooting in two months in a certain area of Massachusetts. I wonder why so many police officers are getting shot currently. The article wasn't really specific when it came down to what happened, but regardless, I'm glad this killer is no longer running through the streets of Massachusetts. If anything, I feel terrible for the family. I mean, this man was just sitting in traffic when this happened. He didn't know that he'd be leaving behind his family. It's just unfair.
