The recent passing of Prince caused a huge wave of emotion all across the U.S. This pop icon had inspired so many for years with this music and what he stood for. "On April 15, on his way home after performing two shows in Atlanta, Prince's plane made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois. Prince was unresponsive and taken to a hospital."
I know that many people at Booker T. took his death pretty hard. The school had numerous tributes to Prince over the span of the next couple of weeks. Even the event is sad it still amazes me how one person could have such a large impact on so many people. Prince, MJ, Amy Winehouse, all of these people have had huge impacts on our nations culture that is still evident today. I guess it's how we use our own power that counts.
