Silvia Torres gave birth to triplets, two of them were conjoined and one was separate. Recently this hospital had the conjoined twins go under surgery to separate them from each other and were successful. Because of the organs they shared, the two will have to undergo reconstruction surgery to be fully healthy.

This is proof that sciences evolving to help more and more people. This is similar to the first facial reconstruction surgery during WWI. This used cartilage and flesh from other parts of the body to fix human faces destroyed by war. It was very risky at first but paved the way for other surgery to come.
