At a San Antonio School a girl was caught on camera being body slammed by a police officer. The officer lied on the report and was fired. This case was an unfortunate example of police brutality and it is good that he was quickly fired. It rasises the question however why this would happen in a middle school? The video shows bystanders laughing and yelling as the officer throws the 6th grader to the ground.
This alludes to the rampant racism in the police department. There are countless reports of police officers shooting and killing unarmed black kids and adults. The officer in the video shows the small abuses that build up to murder.
