Iconic photo of Refugee boy, washed up on shore Xavier S. Rabon 9th Period Flex

The European Union has been struggling to cope with the bodies of those who are trying to escape the Middle East. Just last week, they found a truck that had over 70 bodies of refugees near the Austrian village of Parndorf.  Recently a photo a refugee boy washed up on sea was posted on Facebook, by the mother, which has become iconic.
As dark as this is, I think that it is very important that people pay attention to these deaths. This shouldn't be ignored. But many people do so anyway. With photos such as this, people will stop turning a blind eye to these events, and will hopefully do something about it. The only reason the European Union feels bad about all of these finding, is because they haven't stepped in so that new bodies wont be found in the future.
