What, in the opinion of many, is the best brand of tortilla chips sold in stores today, had launched a new line of chips colored in rainbows to support the "It Gets Better" project. They are not sold in stores, but to receive a bag of these new food-colored chips, one can make a $10 donation to the It Gets Better project (which is a foundation supporting LGBT+ teens who have endured bullying and other forms of discrimination and hate for their sexual orientation/gender identity) online and get their chips in the mail. Considering it isn't like the Starbucks pointless 5¢ per Ethos Water Bottle (200 water bottles for $10 to a foundation vs 1 bag), I'd personally say it's a great project and a great way to get people to donate to a very worthy cause.

ReplyDeleteI like this idea. It's a great way to get a sense of equality into social media and American culture.
