War has Syrians fleeing from their homes
By Adrianna Martinez

Many people have fled Syria, more than any other country in recent years; due to the war that is causing destruction and chaos. Since 2011,  Syria's government  and ISIS have caused protests which quickly turned into war, causing 10.6 million people to flee their homes. Many have or are trying to escape to Europe to provide a better future for themselves and their families. Many countries such as the UK, Germany, Sweden and the  U.S. are  helping to resettle the refugees. This is a serious issue, at least 15 wars and conflict in Africa, Asia and the Middle East  are to blame for the migrant and refugee crisis. These wars are destroying families, forcing people to flee, and causing the biggest displacement we have ever seen. Although it could take years to resolve the conflicts in the Middle East, it is good that countries are helping and providing new homes for the refugees and giving them the opportunity to create a new life for themselves.

  1. I'm so glad countries are being welcoming and inviting to these refugees. This is very similar to my article. Great minds think alike!
