Cassidy Jones Reports on Salmonella Outbreak

News has been released on the recent outbreak of salmonella found in cucumbers grown in Mexico. This outbreak has been fatal for one in California and sickening for hundreds. Of the 285 people sickened, half of these have been children under 18. The outbreak has impacted Arizona tremendously; 66 cases have been recorded in the past week. This shipment of "limited edition cucumbers" has been shipped to other states such as Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, North and Soth Carolina, with reported infections.
This isn't the first time an outbreak of poisoned food has been released. There hasn't been any evidence found on why common groceries have been "victims" of bacteria. This article was written to inform consumers to be aware of the food being bought before consumption.

  1. I'm very glad that I now know about this cucumber situation because I'd rather not get salmonella. I am very concerned though because recently, there have been so many salmonella outbreaks. What is happening to the world?
