A 6-month old baby was left in a SUV in front of a middle school. A teacher at the school is reportedly caring for the child at the time. There are no details or background on the teacher or the relationship the teacher actually had in caring for the child. She supposedly did it accidentally but the child was seen and the cops were called. By the time they made it, the child was found dead. It was about 80 degrees on the day. There are currently teams trying to find more out on the story.
If there is a possibility that the baby didn't die because of the heat, I think the teacher is still responsible for the death. The heat from the car could have brought forward another underlying sickness that the child may have had. The teacher will probably end up in jail no matter what happens

ReplyDeleteThis teacher should end up in jail, when a parent sends a child to school they expect the teacher to watch over their kid!
This is tragic. I wish i could say more awareness needs to be brought about this situation, but there has been so many deaths, and public safety announcements. It truly is up to us to be more thoughtful, caring and observant beings.

ReplyDeleteParents or even caretakers should never leave their kids in the car. Every adult should know that by now but I guess we can't change what has happened.

ReplyDeleteDid nobody teach this teacher that you never leave a baby alone, let alone in a hot car! This is so stupid, I believe they deserve to go to jail. I feel so sorry for this poor baby and any suffering it encountered. :(
