A disgusting representation of bigotry furthered in Texas, as demonstrated by the 2 individuals identified as 32 year old Jimmy Garza Jr. and Ramiro Serrate Jr., both residents of Corpus Christi. These "men" (immature, despicable, vile children in adult bodies) recently decided to attack an unnamed homosexual African American man after inviting him into an apartment (presumably one of their own) and assault him relentlessly for 3 hours by beating and raping him (okay, so flags go off when you realize the man's gay and you start to hate him, but the though of sexually assaulting him appeals to you? I can't be the only one baffled by this logic) with frying pans, coffee mugs, belts, chairs, broom handles, and harsh, acidic chemical cleaning solutions poured into his bleeding face and eyes and seeping into the wounds, and all while being verbally assaulted as well with racial and homophobic slurs. The actions of those despicable creatures are absolutely appalling.
This kind behavior is, quite unfortunately, not an anomaly in this state, even in this day and age. In many parts of America, especially Texas, it is still extremely dangerous to be a minority in skin color and/or sexual orientation, something that can lead to violence inflicted on you for no reason whatsoever.

This is just sad and confusing overall, I'm highly confused about the two men raping a gay man. It honestly defeats the whole purpose. but I am deeply sorry for the poor man, who was abused to death. I feel like this article is missing a lot of information, because right now, it doesn't make sense.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons why I dislike living in Texas. Even though our school and some parts of Dallas and Austin are exceptions, Tecas is one huge comservative republican state. Which is not bad, but when it leads to disgusting And harsh violent as the like this it makes everyone in the state look bad. These people disgust me and I also agree their logic is baffling. I don't understand the reason people must be so cruel to each other.
It's so sad that people insist on harming other people because of their differences
ReplyDeleteI can't understand how in 2015, punishments for disgusting hate crimes like this are often so lenient. I hope these men get what they deserve.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. I feel genuinely sorry for that man. This isn't ok. It's 2015 and people are still doing hurtful things like this. It's disgusting
ReplyDeleteHonestly people need to grow up. So what if people are gay, lesbian, or bisexual. We are all human and that's what really matters. Doesn't matter what you believe in or what you do, people need to treat you with respect.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad, it's practically devastating. It stinks because that man was labeled minority for both his skin color and sexuality.
