9/11 Attacks (Paul Radke 5th)

Summary- On September 11, 2001 the world was at a stand still after 4 planes were hi jacked by the terrorist group of al Qaeda and sent 2 planes in to the world trade centers in New York City, 1 into the pentagon in Washington DC and one landing in a field in Pennsylvania. Since the 9/11 attacks the world has come a long way.

Analysis- The 9/11 attacks were the worst attacks in Americas history and will never be forgotten. But, we have also come a long way since those attacks, there are memorials spread across the United states with the names of the people etched into the marble that it is made out of, there is a whole underground structure where the towers actually were with hundreds of pieces from all of the wreckage and a story behind many of the pieces of the people who owned those things. We as a country have come a long way and we are definitely stronger. The 9/11 attacks brought many sad feeling to us and challenged us to thrive and become a stronger America.

  1. Bernadette nEgrete: Many american lives were lost in these attacks but don't forget the millions of innocent lives that weren't american that were lost. the people from which the terrorist came from, the people who had no idea what happened but were killed because they were from the same country from which the terrorist came from. About 2000 american died during 9/11 but over 2 million died that weren't Americans as well.

  3. I feel that the terrorists won that day, considering since that terrible day, our nation has become so afraid of its own citizens. - Gunnar Ozuna Period 6
