You Can STILL Go to Space Katie huber 4th period

Thought your last chances of being able to enter space were over? You're wrong! A program called "Spaceship Earth Grants," has been created by Star Harbor Space Training Academy to help ordinary people like you receive a chance to see space! Former NASA astronaut Leland Melvin and Ron Garand are to help for these efforts.

The requirements to apply for this amazing opportunity are incredibly simple. All you have to do is: write a short summary and make a 90 second video for the public explaining why this opportunity would "better yourself, your community, your country, and/or our planet." You are also required to donate between $15-90 depending on where you are from.

Public voting to see who will be the lucky winner shall commence on January 5, 2015-February 28, 2015. The final 1000 applicants will be final on March 20, and the final results will be made public on April 12, 2015. Good luck!

  1. This is great information! I am so happy that I have access to this opportunity! I wish there were more articles on space, since NASA was the main informational hub on the topic and they are starting to slowly close up.

  3. This is so neat! It kind of would be really awesome to go to space, but if I had to make a video to prove why I should go... that would not go too well. "Uhh...Space seems pretty... so I should see it... so I can tell people it's... pretty."
