Storm takes out 200,000-Alyssa Hamilton

The trailer for Into The Storm may be appropriate for some situations this weekend as deadly storms in the Midwest knock out the power for 200,000 people. The storm also killed at least two people, and are being called “one of the most damaging storms to hit southeast Michigan in the past century.” The wind got up to 75 miles per hour as it took out power line after power line, sweeping through the area. While power is back up for some it could take days to restore power to everyone.
While they are working as hard as they can, we should have a back-up plan to help restore power and keep people safe during deadly storms

  1. Sounds really scary! Glad to hear that the two people were not killed... Hope they can take care of the damage quickly and move forward.

  2. I have family friends in the Midwest and although they are okay it is still scary to hear things like this. Their back-up plans will hopefully help them with a speedy recovery.

  3. It's so interesting that a storm like this hit Michigan. You usually think of high windstorms happening more near the south. That's why it is so important to be prepared for any natural disaster that could come your way.
