Renewable Biofuel Possible Alternative to Fossil Fuels - Froy Gutierrez 4th

http://www.iflscience.com/environment/scientists-engineer-bacteria-produce-renewable-biofuel

A team of international researchers have discovered a method to create renewable biofuel from cultivating bacteria. This is a great step forward, for if we can get this method to be mass produced on a commercial level, then we can create a healthy alternative to fossil fuels and create a safer planet for future generations. In addition, melanoma risk will be greatly reduced all around the world as drastic changes in weather, ozone and sea levels will become less of an issue.
This relates to U.S. history in the fact that we've had issues with corruption in the EPA in the past 40 years. When executives of oil companies become heads of the EPA, questions should be asked. Hopefully we can set aside our greed to create a better future for our children.

  1. What an interesting breakthrough that has the potential to turn around our environmental crisis! But, knowing how slow our Environmental Protection Agency seems to act, it may be a while before the biofuel can be used on a large, effective scale.
