Ray Rice Makes an Appeal By: Zaria Chambers

I’m sure that we have all heard about the Ray Rice domestic violence case. Ray Rice was suspended for two games after reports said that we had struck his fiancé, but after a video surfaced of him striking his fiancé earlier this year in an elevator around Valentine’s Day.  Earlier this week Ray Rice filled an appeal for him to be able to play on the field in the future.  Even though his chances for playing back on the field Ray is trying desperately for that to change. If he is able to play back on the field it would not be for the Baltimore Ravens and on top of that in order for him to step foot on a field he would have to prove that he has paid the price for what he did.

 

 

I think that this whole situation is crazy, why should he be able to play on the field after abusing his now wife. Although he did strike his wife she still stands by his side which could be the only that Rice may be able to play on the field again. I don’t think that what Rice did was right at all and I find it unbelievable that his now can still stand by his side and see nothing wrong with what he did. Hopefully all of this gets settled out and everyone will leave the situation satisfied.
