Horschel is one of the five players who can play for the $10 million jackpot. He topped off the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup playoff series by winning $1.44 million Tour Championship finale in Atlanta.
at 27 years old, Horschel made the best possible start on Thursday. He tied the first-round lead with a friend of his, Chris Kirk. Horschel won last week's BMW Championship. He was joint runner-up in the second of the four playoff events. this raised his hopes tremendously that he can secure his family's financial state with this upcoming event this weekend. Horschel asked that if his wife Brittany goes into labor in the next few days, that he would not like to be told until he completes his rounds. Their future daughter, Skylar Lillian, is due on September 27 but could be expected earlier. If the child's birth takes place during the tournament, the near by jet will take Horschel back to florida within an hour.
Props for him, yes your childs birth is extremely important but this is an amazing opportunity and event that he is in. I was watching this earlier and I'm routing for him.
