33 year old man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for kidnapping and forcing a 15 year old girl to perform sex acts. Derek Johnson, the criminal met the young girl at the Greyhound bus stop in downtown Dallas. After meeting her there he took her to one of his friends house where he gave her methamphetamine, also known as meth. After that, he took her to truck stop where she was ordered by him to get into one man's truck. Which is where she was forced to have sex with him and then that man paid Johnson.
What angers me the most is that Derek already had criminal chargers in six states. Although none of the six were relating with sexual charges or violence towards women, i think they should have kept him under strict supervision. Not only does this have an impact on people living in Dallas but nation wide because this sends out a message to all teenagers that they need to take more precaution.
wow, this is terrible.I love watching Law and Order SVU (special victims unit), but I don't realize that these events actually happen to real people.

ReplyDeleteCrime is always going and it deals with sexual assaults it is worse. Something like this happening n my city just makes me wonder about the protection of the citizens.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe that all of those six states ignored what he did to women. Do they not realize that if a man sexually assaults a woman and gets away with it, that he will do it again?
ReplyDeleteWe often hear of heartbreaking stories like this across America, but it really hits home when it happens in the city you grew up in, your backyard. It is unfortunate yet necessary for women to take extra precaution. I do wonder why she was meeting the man to begin with...
