On September 19, 7pm Omar J.Gonzalez from Texas jumped over the White House fence and kept running even when told to stop. He was tackled just inside the doors of the North Portico. Omar was unarmed but the White house was still evacuated. Now the secret service is being questioned if they can actually protect the president. Omar Gonzalez was charged with unlawful entry into the White House.
I hope the security at the White House doesn't let anything like this happen again. The situation could have gone very badly if the man hadn't of been stopped sooner.
ReplyDeleteFrom Texas, man. I feel that reflects badly on our state. White House Security was chilling, I assumed they would heartless and brutal. Yelling at someone to stop is so weak.
