In the past two weeks, there have now been three incidents on airplanes involving seats being reclined. Monday night, a third plane landed in order to remove a passenger, angry that the person in front of them reclined their seat. It rerouted to Jacksonville, Florida, on its way to West Palm Beach.
"Delta flight 2370 from New York-LaGuardia to West Palm Beach was re-routed to Jacksonville International Airport due to a passenger disruption. Out of an abundance of caution, the Captain elected to divert to the closest airport." as stated by Delta Airlines.
It really says something, when airline passengers are getting as aggravated as they are, enough to cause the plane to have to land and remove them. And hopefully these situations will only get better.

This passenger should have expected the person to recline their seat seeing as it's a normal thing to do on a plane ride. It just seems rash and a little humorous that they made the plane land for a passenger and that it has happened so often.
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy to think that people cannot simply put up with a little discomfort for the short amount of time they're on a plane. Reclining plane chairs is a typical thing to do. It's unbelievable that someone threw a fit about something so common.
ReplyDeleteIt's kinda funny that it's gotten to the point where they'll land a plane just because of slight discomfort. Aren't plane rides uncomfortable anyways?
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy. They can stop the plane because of someones convince but wen other stuff happens that is more important then they can't because it is inconvenient for the airlines.
