Cruel Ice Bucket Challenge -Myles Bennett 6th

Outraged parents showed up at Bay Village High School on Wednesday morning demanding that there needs to be a search for the cruel people who poured feces, urine, spit, etc. on their special needs son for the ALS Ice bucket challenge. The police were notified and plan to press charges, and the school board has said they will be taking extensive measures to weed out the pranksters and punish them.

Analysis: I believe the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is a great way to spread awareness, my grandfather  actually died from ALS, but I think it is so sad when people take something for fun and pure goodness and abuse it. It is so sad that whoever did this would do this to someone who probably won't be able to stand up for themselves. My aunt had mental and physical disabilities and if this had happened to her, I can't imagine what I would do. It's really sad to see what some people find funny and acceptable in this world.

  2. That's so disrespectful to this person and the cause itself.

  3. The ice bucket challenge did its part by spreading news of ALS. I think now its just a game for people to pour water on others. If something really was to be done about the disorder, we should invest more in learning about it than pranking kids.

  4. that was such a dumb and senseless thing for those people to do. they obviously do not understand the real cause and reason for the bucket challenge, and just ruined it all.

  5. This makes me so sick. There's always that one person who turns a good thing bad. Whoever did this will really regret this later on in life when they realize what they've actually done.

  6. I hope they find the kids responsible for this and serve justice to the innocent victim. (Miguel Dones)

  7. It is horrible that people dishonor an organization to help spread awareness to a disease and totally disrespect a person that has the disease. Good thing they are getting punished for their wrong doings.
