Child Killed in Car By Megan Darlington P4

A couple has been under the news radar for awhile for leaving their son in a hot car, causing their son to die. Both of the parents were questioned, especially after searches have found that both of them have googled, "How hot does the car need to be for a toddler to die." Recently a lie detector test was done on the mother and that has proved her innocent to the whole scene, but people are skeptical of the test saying they're a bunch of crap. The husband is in jail right now as the mother is not, but she has lost everything.
This is so sad to hear. Its not fair that innocent children get killed frequently by careless errors. This subject is a serious matter and now it is becoming a more common occurrence. Inventions should be made and we need to understand the gravity of this situation.

  1. I heard about this over the summer. I think there is substantial evidence that this was premeditated. It really is sad to see parents driven to allegedly murder their own child for the money of the life insurance policy (or any other reason for that matter). (Myles Bennett)

  2. That's extremely sad to hear. I can't believe that either. I hate how there is an increase in children dying or being mistreated by family. I hope it comes to an end soon. -Jazmin G. (2nd period)

  3. I definitely agree with Jazmin. I hope that the number of children lost, do to uncaring parents, soon comes to a close 0. Although, I do think the mother should definitely be punished after finding the google searches.
